PGP at SSB!

I'm very excited to announce that PGP will be at the next Super Smash Brollers bout at the Lee Westwood centre at Clifton, Nottingham.

On the 28th May Nottingham's very own Super Smash Brollers will be pitting their Roller Derby skills against Crash Test Brummies, The InHuman League will be playing against Wirral Pack Animals.

PGP will be there with my trusty cutter and heater, which means you can get your scrim top made up with your name and number, for as little as £5! I'll also be taking orders for custom water bottles, mugs and more!

I'll also be wearing my other hat Mini Geek Boutique. Come grab a bargain!

Tickets are available from the SSB Facebook event page.

Scrim tops, vests and hoodies, oh my!

This week has been fun! On Monday, along with Emma from Luna Photography we took photos of some of the scrim tops, vests and hoodies I have been making for the local Roller Derby teams.

Taking a photo isn't something you take lightly, there's a lot of skil involved, it doesn't just involve point and click. For my case we decided that to hang the blank tshirts from a clothes line against a slightly textured wall would give a different feel to the tops rather than them being laid out flat on the floor or on a plain white background.

One of the photos Emma took. The black vest against the white background is a nice simple, but effective look!
Emma was also my model! I was always feel apprehensive when taking photos because not only did she let me use her camera but having to direct someone on how you want to be posing, whether they are your good friend or not, can be quite difficult! I am in absolute awe of how Emma can do this on a day to day basis.
Emma doing an outstanding job of modelling for me!

Emma was more than happy to pose for me but we did take some silly photos too..... ^_^

Silly Emma :D <3

This week I've been uploading the final photos and products to the Etsy store and am really happy with how the photos look. It's important to make sure the photos are clear and it's always a good idea to have a professional take them! It really does make a difference to the overall brand and look of the store.

I also uploaded some non derby stuff such as "Squad Goals" t-shirt, and "Today I adulted" badge!

Phew! It's been a busy week, but totally worth it.
